With palette styles, you can create different versions of the same color palette.
Using color palettes and palette styles, you can create a different palette for each element in your scene, and then a palette style for the colors of your character in different light settings.
Let's say you have a scene that has two characters and takes place in two different light settings (night and day). You would create two palettes (one for each character) that would each have two palette styles (for the light changes).
You can select the new style from the Style drop-list on the Color Palette tab.
This allows you to see the effect of a new palette style and to quickly repaint objects for different scenes. When you export your animation, Toon Boom Studio uses the active style to paint your movie.
When you add or rename a color swatch, Toon Boom Studio updates the connected styles.
You can make changes to the color properties of a swatch in one style without affecting the same swatch in the other style.
